I recently received an invite (thanks Ane Mari) to become the owner of a piece of land in Mexico.
It’s a wonderful place where you can be an active citizen of the world while living far away from crazy cities and pollution.
Here are a few pics my friend sent. Looks like paradise !
You can horseback ride, bathe in Cenote with water full of minerals, and even bake a cake made with Mayan Organic raw chocolate and vanilla straight from the garden ! The buildings are sustainable conscious with local raw materials, in harmony with nature. Of course it’s run by renewable power.
You also can work from there and stay connected, plus there’s a great focus on music, dance and the arts.
Very tempting… Except give me about 2 weeks before I really miss the crazy urban civilization, and my stilettos.
How would I commute from here to there ? Airplane = CO2 CO2 CO2 ! Not very ecological !
I guess for now I’ll keep trying to be an organic girl in the city, and say : congrats to this new growing community that might become a role model for the rest of the planet !
