The sun is -although we haven’t seen it for quite a while here in Paris- a tremendous source of power and sustainable energy. Olafur Eliason brings a new project about it to Tate Modern this summer. Developed over the last two years, Little Sun is a work of art that brings solar-powered light to off-grid areas of the world. It will feature a space on the third floor of the gallery, where visitors can learn about solar power, the global energy challenge, and its importance in and for life.

I personally believe we should go for sustainable energy, step by step, and give up shitty nuke power. I’m glad such a great artist brings the opportunity to open minds on this particular subject.
